Full-Charge Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day accounting operations of our client's organization. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience overseeing the full accounting cycle, is comfortable working independently, and can take ownership of accounting processes from transaction-level work through financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance

• Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, bank and account reconciliations

• Assist with preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports

• Maintain and reconcile cash accounts, credit cards, and expense reports

• Coordinate with external partners such as CPAs, auditors, and tax preparers

• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within accounting operations

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• 5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or hands-on accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of the full accounting cycle and financial statement preparation

• Proficiency with accounting software and solid Excel skills
