Our client is seeking an entry-level Recruiting Coordinator to support a fast-paced HR and Talent Acquisition team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in Human Resources or Recruiting. The role begins as a contract position with the opportunity to convert to permanent and is 100% onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
The Recruiting Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring smooth hiring processes by supporting sourcing, screening, scheduling, and ongoing communication with candidates. This position works closely with Recruiters and HR leadership and offers hands-on exposure to full-cycle recruiting and cross-training within HR functions.
Responsibilities
Support the full recruiting life cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, background checks, and offer coordination
Screen resumes and identify qualified candidates for open positions
Maintain regular communication with applicants, providing job details and interview coordination
Source candidates using job boards, social media, networking, and recruiting tools
Collaborate with Recruiters to develop creative strategies to increase candidate flow
Post job openings across various platforms and manage applicant tracking
Participate in career fairs and recruitment events as needed
Prepare recruitment reports by collecting and summarizing data and trends
Ensure compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and best practices
Receive cross-training in additional Recruiting and HR department functions
Qualifications
Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred (Human Resources or related field ideal)
Internship or prior exposure to HR or recruiting is a plus
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, hands-on attitude with a willingness to learn
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
