We are working with a growing organization in Chicago that is seeking a Manufacturing & Industrial Contract Recruiter to support high-volume hiring efforts. This role is ideal for an experienced recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong sense of urgency, and is motivated by making an immediate impact. This is a contract opportunity with the potential for extension and follows a hybrid schedule, with onsite presence more days than not.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume, hourly manufacturing and industrial roles
Partner closely with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to understand hiring needs
Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies tailored to role requirements and business demands
Post positions and manage recruitment advertising efforts
Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
Schedule and conduct interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders
Support the offer process by providing recommendations on compensation, start dates, and other details
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the applicant tracking system
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of full-cycle, high-volume recruiting experience
Manufacturing or industrial recruiting experience preferred
Agency recruiting background strongly preferred; corporate experience also considered
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Ability to work with urgency while remaining organized and detail-oriented
Experience using applicant tracking systems; open to various platforms
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools
