We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to support molecular testing efforts within the Seed Health Quality Testing lab. This position focuses on performing diagnostic assays to ensure the health and integrity of seed products. The ideal candidate will have experience in molecular biology techniques and be comfortable working in both laboratory and greenhouse environments.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct molecular tests including ELISA, nucleic acid extractions, qPCR, conventional PCR, and gel electrophoresis

• Perform routine testing in greenhouse settings as needed

• Operate lab automation tools such as liquid handling systems

• Maintain lab supplies and follow safety protocols and procedures

• Accurately document test processes and maintain laboratory records

• Collaborate with internal teams to support additional Seed Health testing needs

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a laboratory environment, preferably with molecular testing

• Familiarity with standard molecular biology techniques and lab safety practices

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Effective time management and ability to work both independently and within a team

• Educational background in biology, microbiology, or a related field preferred
