Overview:
A well-established food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role involves managing the full accounts payable cycle with accuracy and efficiency while supporting branch and corporate operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process accounts payable checks and related documentation.
• Review and reconcile purchase order and accounts payable reports regularly.
• Ensure timely vendor payments to maximize available discounts.
• Respond promptly to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized accounts payable files and generate reports as needed.
• Assist with special projects and provide backup support for other AP functions.
• Perform analysis of accounts and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Complete assigned branch accounts payable review and vouchering in accordance with established guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of computerized accounts payable systems, Excel, and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience; two years of related AP experience preferred.
