Beacon Hill is seeking a Staff Accountant on a temp to hire basis for a creative organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end close processes, including preparation and posting of journal entries
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for management
- Assist with audit preparation and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial data
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of accounting experience in a similar role
- Previous experience with NetSuite, Oracle, or other ERP systems required
- Strong understanding of GAAP and standard accounting practices
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate with a creative team
