Telecom Technician and VTC/AV Technician Opening- Secret Clearance Required
Sr. Telecom Technician
- Use existing pull strings to route all low-voltage cabling (Cat6, coax, etc.) through conduits or wall cavities.
- Terminate cables at specified IDF/MDF, patch panels, and wall plates per drawings.
- Label all cable runs per project standards (both ends).
- Conduct cable testing and certification to ensure integrity and signal quality.
- Mount and secure j-hooks, cable trays, or other support structures as required.
- Follow NEC and local code compliance for cable installation.
- Coordinate with GC and other trades to avoid conflicts during framing or drywall phases.
- Document all cable pathways and updates in as-builts.
Desired Skills/Certifications:
- Any BICSI certification
