A Beacon Hill client, a small and reputable CPA firm in Moorestown, NJ, is seeking a Tax Associate to support their team through the busy tax season. This role will focus primarily on individual tax preparation (Form 1040) and is ideal for someone with prior hands-on tax experience who is looking for flexible, short-term work.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare individual tax returns (Form 1040) accurately and efficiently
- Gather, review, and organize client tax documentation
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations
- Communicate with internal team members to resolve questions or missing information
- Support the firm during peak tax season as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience preparing individual tax returns (1040s) required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Additional Details:
- On-site first day in Moorestown, NJ to receive equipment; fully remote thereafter
- Flexible working hours, with availability required during core hours (7:30 AM - 5:30 PM)
- Opportunity to start immediately and work until the end of April
