Job Overview:

We are seeking a licensed and motivated Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Gainesville. This position offers an excellent opportunity for newly licensed pharmacists to begin their careers in a professional and supportive environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing pharmacy technicians, patient counseling, and collaboration with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and collaborating with a team of Registered Pharmacy Technicians.

• Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy, appropriate dosage, and absence of drug interactions

• Provide clear and accurate counseling to patients on medication use, potential side effects, and storage

• Maintain proper records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient profiles in accordance with regulatory guidelines

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure appropriate storage and handling of all medications

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college or university

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in the State of Florida

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Basic proficiency in pharmacy software and electronic health records (EHR) systems

Note: Prior work experience is not required. PharmD graduates with a valid Florida license are encouraged to apply.
