A law firm in West Palm Beach, FL is looking for a Legal Billing Clerk/Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. Previous experience with accounting tasks in a law firm setting is necessary. This on-site role has working hours from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The firm provides competitive pay and benefits. The position focuses on accounting tasks, including accounts payable, posting journal entries, account reconciliations, and issuing 1099s, and includes cross-training in billing department functions for coverage during absences.
Requirements:
- Over 3 years of experience
- Understanding of the legal industry's billable hours structure and familiarity with general ledger details
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous billing experience in a law firm or similar professional services
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is beneficial
- Knowledge of TABS is beneficial
