My client, a global financial services firm located in NYC, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. I placed the only other person on the team a few years ago and this is a newly created role due to growth. The position will interact with other internal teams like Operations, Trading, and the London and Hong Kong Accounting teams as well. Some of the day to day responsibilities include tracking and recording invoices, preparing month-end reconciliations, processing day-to-day settlements, invoice adjustments and working with clients to resolve financial discrepancies. This is an unbelievable opportunity to join a very progressive firm and work with a dynamic group of people. Ideal candidate will have a BS in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years' experience in the field, and ideally have worked in a financial services or professional services industry. You must demonstrate very strong communication skills and be able to work in a fast paced environment that will encourage personal and professional development.
