Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Billing & Patient Accounts Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a solid background in medical billing and insurance.
Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls to patients regarding outstanding payments and account inquiries
Provide clear and professional communication to help patients understand their balances and payment options
Accurately document all interactions and updates within the billing system
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any discrepancies or billing issues
Maintain a high level of efficiency while handling a high volume of calls and tasks
Requirements:
Prior experience in medical billing and a strong understanding of medical insurance processes
Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
