Join a high-impact engineering team building scalable, integrated systems that solve complex challenges across software, hardware, networking, autonomy/robotics, and systems integration. Your work will directly support mission-critical operations by reducing cognitive load for end users and enabling more effective decision-making in the field.
We're looking for engineers who thrive in fast-paced environments, value ownership and autonomy, and are motivated by meaningful, real-world impact. You'll collaborate across disciplines to design and deliver new capabilities, starting with Edge Control Systems and expanding into integrated C4 solutions at the tactical edge.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, deploy, automate, and scale Edge Control Systems powered by our Lattice software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new and complex functionality
- Triage issues, identify root causes, and coordinate solutions
- Travel up to 10% to support field testing and deployment
- Contribute to adjacent product lines delivering integrated C4 capabilities to the tactical edge
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
- Deep understanding of Linux systems, from kernel to userspace
- Proficiency in Rust, C++, Go, Python, or Haskell
- Experience building software solutions involving hardware integrations
- Ability to navigate complex systems and established codebases
- Familiarity with Agile software methodologies
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Nix, NixOS, nixpkgs, and functional programming
- Background in embedded systems or OS development from the kernel up
- DevOps or Platform Engineering experience
- Prior military or defense contracting experience, especially in edge computing or tactical networking
- Experience at technology startups focused on defense or mission-driven innovation
