Position: Litigation Legal Assistant
Location: Downtown Denver, CO
Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 (based on experience)
Schedule: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite), 35-hour work week

A well-established international law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support its insurance coverage litigation team in the Denver office. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and fast-paced team that works on complex first-party and third-party property insurance matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to a team of up to four litigation attorneys

  • Draft, proofread, and format legal correspondence and court documents

  • Coordinate and file legal documents with state and federal courts, including e-filing

  • Maintain attorney calendars, manage deadlines, and schedule meetings

  • Prepare pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and related legal materials

  • Organize and maintain electronic legal files

  • Coordinate depositions, including booking court reporters and handling logistics

  • Perform occasional office coordination and reception-related duties

  • Handle other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of litigation experience, preferably in a large law firm

  • Prior experience supporting insurance coverage or defense attorneys strongly preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe/Nuance PDF tools, and legal tech platforms (iManage, Chrome River, InTapp)

  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently

  • Familiarity with state and federal e-filing procedures

  • Excellent grammar, writing, and communication skills

  • High school diploma or GED required
