Highly regarded Memphis plaintiff law firm is seeking a Pre-Litigation Paralegal for a newly created, permanent position. Paralegal will work with a busy attorney and manage the caseload from retainer up to litigation or settlement. We are looking for a paralegal who has excellent interpersonal and organization skills and at least two years of experience in a pre-suit position.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Communicating with clients to keep them informed of case status and to ensure that they are getting their medical treatment
- Drafting demand letters
- Organizing medical and police records and other related documents
- Preparing settlement statements
- Managing calendar and keeping attorneys aware of upcoming dates and deadlines
- Helping with other related responsibilities and special projects
