Top Atlanta law firm has a need for a Litigation Legal Assistant to join a team whose work includes construction defect, medical malpractice, premises and products liability and other complex litigation matters. This firm has an outstanding reputation and values all employees!
We are seeking a legal assistant who has at least four years of experience supporting litigation attorneys in a law firm. Litigation Legal Assistant will provide a variety of legal administrative support that include:
- Opening new matters
- Scheduling meetings, conference calls and travel and managing calendars of attorneys
- Drafting, proofreading and editing legal correspondence and memos, transcription
- E-filing
- Communicating with attorneys, court officials and clients
- Creating monthly expense reimbursements
- Maintaining files
- Entering attorney time and assisting with billing
- General administrative support including scanning, printing, emailing, mailing
Litigation Legal Assistant must have strong technical skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook and excellent communication and organizational skills.
