Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with a focus on Fixed Assets to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data entry, foundational Excel skills, and 2+ years of experience in accounting and/or fixed assets. This role involves transitioning fixed assets from off-book to on-book, identifying assets, and maintaining accurate financial records using Excel and proprietary software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transition fixed assets that are currently off the books onto the books.

• Research and identify fixed assets for accurate classification and recording.

• Perform detailed data entry of fixed asset information into Excel.

• Utilize software to support fixed asset tracking and accounting (training provided if necessary).

• Maintain accurate and timely records of all fixed asset transactions.

• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure completeness of asset data.

Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in fixed assets and/or general accounting.

• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas).

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
