We are seeking an IT Program Manager to fulfill a 6+ month contract position with a strong possibility of extensions and/or rolling permanently. This is a hybrid role in Alpharetta 3 days per week.

Technology & Services delivers shared technology services supporting all business applications and end users. This business unit provides capabilities for all stages of our client's software development lifecycle, enabling productive coding, functional and integration testing, application releases, and ongoing monitoring and support for over 3,000 production applications. This team also delivers all workplace technologies (desktop, mobile, voice, video, productivity, intranet/internet) in integrated configurations that boost the personal productivity of employees. Application and end user functions are delivered on a scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure composed of seamlessly integrated datacenter, network, compute, cloud, storage, and database functions.

Position Description
Our client is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated Senior Project Manager with infrastructure experience to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. Your infrastructure experience, collaborative approach, ability to identify challenges as opportunities, teamed with energy and excitement to coach, drive, and facilitate initiatives across a wide range of technologies will deliver best in class technology to the organization to support the products offered.

* Proactively manage and remove impediments and risks to ensure the teams can focus on delivering incremental business value.
* Drive cross collaboration within multiple project teams, Tech Owners, Sponsors, Stakeholders, and shared services.
* Provide project and program management support across a range of technology delivery efforts.
* Deliver increased transparency and insight across in-flight infrastructure initiatives and programs.
* Develop and maintain all project documentation required for successful delivery of the project and for records retention purposes in accordance with organizational policies.
* Identify and actively manage risk according to impact and probability, escalating when necessary.
* Evolve our technology capabilities to support existing, new, and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:
* Strategize, plan, and lead on-going execution/ delivery efforts for infrastructure initiatives.
* Manage initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business.
* Understand and leverage cross-functional initiatives.
* Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for multiple major initiatives simultaneously.
* Define success criteria and disseminate to involved parties throughout the project and program life cycle.
* Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
* Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
* Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chair related project meetings.Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders.
* Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership.
* Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies; and critical path deliverables.
* Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities.
* Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
* Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
* Identify and develop trusted adviser relationships with project and program stakeholders, sponsors, and university stakeholders.
* Actively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.

Skills Required
* This is a high-visibility role within, with significant strategic responsibility. Since this position interfaces extensively with our Alpharetta, GA teams, in-person, close geographic proximity to our teams is critical.

We are looking for candidates with:
* 15+ years of direct broad-based technology project management experience
* Proven influencing and coaching capabilities
* Experience in driving opportunities around process & system automation.
* Experience in transformational programs which includes automation, process optimization and system rationalization.
* Experience with data management, data lake platforms as well as cloud technologies.
* Strong analytical and communications skills are necessary.
* The ability to structure, organize, summarize, and communicate complex data and execution efforts.
* A core focus on providing great service across our stakeholder groups.

Preferred Skills
* Infrastructure, automation, Al and data experience is beneficial.
* Bachelor of Science (B.S) Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or MIS, or equivalent experience.
* Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is preferred.
* Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
* Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is desired.
