Job Description:
Our client, based in Lake Elmo, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sales & Use Tax Specialist to join their team on a part-time contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-state sales and use tax compliance, as well as hands-on experience in reconciliation, expense reporting, and other related accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and ensure compliance with sales and use tax regulations across multiple states
Prepare and file sales and use tax returns accurately and on time
Assist with employee expense reporting and ensure proper documentation and compliance
Support other finance and accounting tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Proven experience with multi-state sales and use tax
Strong understanding of tax compliance and accounting principles
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an onsite environment
Schedule:
32 hours per week (part-time)
Fully onsite in Lake Elmo, MN
