Position: Ordering Specialist

Location: Onsite
Employment Type: Temp-to-hire
Salary Range: $50,000-$65,000, DOE
Reports To: Office Manager

Overview

A client of Beacon Hill is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Ordering Specialist to join their team. This role is essential to ensuring accurate and timely ordering of tile and flooring products for both residential and commercial projects using RFMS software. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This is an exciting temp-to-hire opportunity that is onsite in Plymouth, MN.

Key Responsibilities

Ordering & Project Coordination

  • Coordinate with the Office Manager and Accounting Team to meet project needs

  • Order tile and flooring materials using RFMS software

  • Verify products meet required specifications

  • Enter project baselines in RFMS

  • Prepare pre-lien notices and assist with lien waiver documentation

  • Complete sales tax exemption forms

  • Assist with accounts payable documentation and manage the A/R filing system

  • Act as a secondary point of contact for incoming phone calls

  • Promote and support internal policies and procedures

  • Foster a team-oriented environment for seamless project execution

Budget & Cost Control

  • Support budget tracking and encourage cost-effective practices

  • Identify inefficiencies while maintaining adherence to internal procedures

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain comprehensive purchasing documentation

  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to management

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficient in RFMS software, Microsoft Office, and project management platforms (e.g., Procore, Textura, GC Pay)

  • Strong multitasking ability and comfort working on varied projects

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • A solutions-oriented mindset with a drive for quality results

  • Positive, energetic, and committed to continuous improvement
