We're seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our cleints accounting team in Mesa, Arizona. The client is a leading non profit in the Phoenix area with a fantastic mission
You'll prepare and review general journal entries, manage fixed asset reconciliations, and diligently monitor account balances to ensure integrity across financial records. A strong grasp of debits and credits, accruals, pre-paid accounts, and both account and bank reconciliation is essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Experience: Solid background in debits/credits, accruals, prepaids, and full-cycle month-end close responsibilities.
- Excel Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Attention to Detail: Highly organized with a meticulous approach to account reconciliations and financial data.
- Articulate Communicator: Ability to clearly communicate findings, variances, and reports to team members and leadership.
- Longevity and Stability: Ideal candidates will bring a track record of job stability and reliability.
