Job Title: Senior Scrum Master / Project Manager (Hybrid, Contract)

Location: Hybrid (In-office 3 days/week, likely Tuesday-Thursday)
Job Type: 12+ month contract with likelihood of extension


Job Overview:

A dynamic opportunity for a Senior Scrum Master / Project Manager to lead the delivery of a capital engineering project. This role blends Agile leadership with traditional project management, ideal for a Certified Scrum Master experienced in managing complex initiatives and working cross-functionally with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups and PI planning.
  • Run and maintain Jira boards; ensure sprint goals are met.
  • Deliver capital project status updates and executive-level reports in PowerPoint.
  • Track and manage risks, issues, change requests, and scope.
  • Provide day-to-day direction to project team members.
  • Establish and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Support change management throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of senior-level project or program management experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira (including board setup and management).
  • Strong PowerPoint skills for status reporting and presentations.
  • Familiarity with project portfolio management (PPM) tools (proprietary tool experience is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks with hybrid (Agile + traditional) project experience.

  • Confident presenting to leadership and executive teams.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
