Job Title: Temporary Security Officer

Pay Rate: $23 - $25 per hour
Duration: June, 2025 - August, 2025
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Position Overview:

Beacon Hill's client in Saint Paul, MN is looking for a temporary Security Officer to cover a leave of absence. This role involves monitoring a large corporate campus to ensure safety, security, and compliance with facility protocols. The officer will rotate between patrol duties, front desk coverage, and operating a modern command center equipped with surveillance systems and emergency response tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol facilities and monitor for security, safety, and maintenance issues.

• Provide assistance and directions to employees, visitors, and the general public.

• Operate a command center with surveillance cameras, access control, and emergency systems.

• Respond to medical emergencies, security incidents, and building alarms.

• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records.

• Participate in investigations and follow standard operating procedures.

• Assist with fire, life safety, and emergency response protocols.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond calmly in emergencies.

• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Excel.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Flexibility to work overtime or rotate shifts if needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk or climb stairs for extended periods.

• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.

• Must be able to perform CPR and First Aid (training provided).

• Frequent use of computers and phones.

• Clear communication during emergency announcements or with first responders.
