Research Assistant - 100% Onsite | Columbus, OH

We are seeking a Research Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of a research facility focused on advancing scientific discovery. This is a hands-on position that plays a key role in maintaining high standards of care and compliance in a regulated research environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist in daily care and observation of research animals

• Support general facility upkeep and routine operational tasks

• Monitor animals and environments to help ensure research quality and integrity

• Help manage supplies, equipment, and facility resources

• Maintain detailed and accurate records in accordance with established protocols

• Collaborate with team members to support ongoing research activities

• Participate in other assigned responsibilities as needed

Ideal Background

• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred, particularly in a scientific or technical field

• Prior experience working with animals in a research, clinical, or husbandry setting is strongly preferred

• Experience with rodent handling or colony management is a plus

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
