Job Title: Housing Assistance Supervisor
Location: Full time onsite in Miami, FL
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pmEST
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Housing Assistance Manager
Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Housing Assistant Supervisor to lead a team of roughly 5-10 individuals on a RAD/PBV related housing programs. The ideal candidate is capable of interpreting federal regulations, drafting project proposals, and contributing to policy development. This position plays a critical role in ensuring program compliance and operational excellence with their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft project proposals for existing housing, rehabilitated housing, and new construction.
- Provide daily direction to team of processors reviewing applications to the program.
- Handle escalated situations with prospective tenants and applicants of the program.
- Assist property owners with Subsidy Layering Reviews and Environmental Reviews.
- Coordinate Relocation Assistance in compliance with Fair Housing practices.
- Ensure adherence to the Administrative Plan, HUD regulations, and internal Standard Operating Procedures.
- Monitor families receiving relocation assistance to ensure compliance and support.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures for optimal program performance.
- Foster open communication across departments, the PHA, and external partners.
- Provide outstanding customer service to participants, property owners, and stakeholders.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a leadership role of at least three years.
- Previous experience to a PBV or RAD housing program.
- Ability to shift attention quickly in an ever-changing environment.
- Ability handles escalated issues related to the program.
- Previous experience in interpreting and advising on federal regulations.
- Has obtained a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
