The DevTest Engineer will be responsible for developing new, specific RDKB code. They will receive code from OEMs / 3rd-Parties and conduct code reviews. They will integrate newly developed RDKB code into GitLab Pipelines. They will troubleshoot and triage any defects raised by upstream test teams (e.g. CPESYS & VOICE) and provide Root Cause Analysis and fixes. They will integrate automation tools into GitLab, create designs and documentation to support new code or new tools being integrated into our code base and pipelines.
Requirements
Top 3 Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience as an DevTest or DevOps Engineer
- Wxperience writing automated test cases
- Strong GitLab integration experience
- Coding and testing experience using Python or Pytest
Plusses:
- Some experience writing RDK or RDBK automated test cases
- Helpful to know how to write software language in C targeted for a Linux operating system
