Job Title: Contract Medical Billing Specialist
Location: Hybrid in Edina, MN
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift Options: This position requires availability to answer calls between 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. We offer flexible scheduling and have several shift structures available:

• 5 days, 8-hour shifts
  Choose from the following standard schedules:
  * 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  * 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  * 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  * 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  * 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

• 4 days, 10-hour shifts
  * 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with one weekday off

• 4 days, 9-hour shifts + 1 half day
  Option 1:
  * Four days: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  * One 4-hour shift: Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
  (same day each week)

  Option 2:
  * Four days: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  * One 4-hour shift: Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM
  (same day each week)

Job Overview:
Beacon Hill's client is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will handle inbound and outbound calls with parents regarding account balances, providing clear and professional support. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate sensitive financial discussions with empathy and efficiency.

This is an exciting 6-month contract opportunity that is onsite in Edina, MN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls from parents regarding account balances.
• Place outgoing calls to provide account updates and payment options.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of customer service experience.
• 2+ years of medical billing experience
• Background in medical billing and insurance eligibility is required.
