Position Overview:
A growing organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support company-wide FP&A functions and serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders. This high-impact role will focus on providing clear, actionable insights through financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting, with a strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration, continuous improvement, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly financial reports, KPI dashboards, and variance analyses across departments
Support and lead monthly review meetings with key stakeholders in operations, sales, and other functional teams
Conduct strategic ad hoc analysis and build dashboards using visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or Quicksight)
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for assigned departments and assist with company-wide budget consolidation
Develop and maintain tools that measure performance metrics, profitability, and project outcomes
Partner with manufacturing or operational teams to analyze cost drivers and identify improvement opportunities
Support cost accounting efforts including rate accuracy and job-level profitability tracking
Assist with the monthly close process, including journal entry preparation and analytical reviews
Participate in capital expenditure tracking, fixed asset reporting, and financial modeling
Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance financial systems, reporting, and decision-making
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
5+ years of experience in financial analysis or public accounting
CPA or relevant certification is a plus, but not required
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, modeling) and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with financial planning systems (Oracle Hyperion/Essbase preferred)
Familiarity with data analytics and BI tools such as Tableau or Quicksight
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with senior leadership
Ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a collaborative team environment
Workplace Requirements:
Must be comfortable with prolonged computer and desk work
Willingness to move between office and operational areas as needed
Strong written and verbal communication required to effectively engage across departments
