Business Operations Specialist - Client Onboarding (Hybrid)
Location: Hybrid | On-site 3 days/week (within 90-minute commute)
Industry: Financial Services / Credit Protection
Employment Type: Contract - through December
Overview:
We're partnering with a leading financial services company to hire a Business Operations Specialist to join their Client Onboarding team. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys a blend of technical system work and cross-functional collaboration. You'll help ensure the accurate setup of credit protection product programs and work closely with internal teams, vendors, and clients to keep onboarding on track.

What You'll Do:
- Ensure internal systems are accurately set up for new client credit protection programs
- Support system implementations, setup, and testing for point-of-sale product programs
- Coordinate with clients, sales teams, and internal departments to verify program and policy details
- Work with third-party vendors to test and validate forms used by financial institutions
- Serve as a key contact for questions around internal systems and setup
- Ensure timely setup of premium remittance and claims systems using correct policy numbers
- Track onboarding timelines and keep projects moving forward
- Look for process improvements using shared tools and best practices
What We're Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with systems and data
- Analytical mindset and solid problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills - you'll be explaining technical information in plain terms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience (not required but a plus):
- Experience with credit protection products and systems (VIVA, Stone Eagle, HOA)
- Knowledge of compliance and implementation requirements in financial services
