A prestigious higher education institution in Boston is seeking a Temporary Program & Events Assistant to support the Office of the Vice President of Finance in a full-time, temporary role. This 3-month assignment runs from July 28 through October 31, is fully on-site at 25 Buick Street, Boston, and pays $22/hour.

Schedule:
37.5 hours/week (7.5 hours/day)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and implement projects related to program development, publicity, and outreach.
  • Support planning and marketing of programs and events such as orientations, career development programs, and internships.
  • Conduct research and develop reports and marketing materials.
  • Serve as liaison to external partners for specific programs or issues.
  • Assist with curriculum development and the administration of program websites and social media platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Advanced professional writing skills; training or change management experience a plus.
  • Flexibility in work hours.
  • Experience with digital media and graphic design tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with university policies a plus.

Ideal Experience:

  • Background in program administration, event coordination, marketing, or outreach.
