A Coral Gables law firm is seeking an experienced Estate Planning & Probate Paralegal to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with probate and estate administration cases.
- Prepare and file probate court documents, including petitions, notices, and inventories.
- Draft and review legal documents related to probate and estate planning.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information.
- Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other parties involved in probate matters.
- Manage and maintain case files and deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation of estate tax returns and accounting.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
- Manage all kinds of estate administration cases including: Muniment of Title, Affidavit of Heirship, Independent Administration, Dependent Administration and Heirship proceedings.
- Manage guardianship matters.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in probate and estate administration.
- Proficiency in legal document preparation and probate filing procedures
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with relevant software tools is a plus
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask under deadlines
