Job Title: Junior Project Coordinator
Location: Saint Paul, MN
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (In-Office during training; hybrid afterward)
Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Junior Project Coordinator to support project management operations. This entry-level role focuses on administrative support, customer communication, and tracking project documentation. The position offers hands-on training in a fast-paced environment and opportunities for growth into Project Coordinator and Project Manager roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients to gather and verify documentation for project applications.
- Track the status of applications with utilities and agencies, ensuring timely processing.
- Submit final documentation to obtain necessary approvals for completed projects.
- Prepare and submit permit applications; maintain accurate project data in internal systems.
- Monitor permit approval statuses, address missing information promptly, and ensure compliance with submission timelines.
- Process permit payments; review received permits and plans for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage email correspondence related to project applications and respond as needed.
- Create monitoring accounts and generate quotes for accessory installations.
- Provide administrative support; assist with maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of administrative, permitting, or project coordination experience
- Familiarity with permitting or interconnection processes is a plus.
- Proficient in CRM systems, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar), and modern software tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; customer-service-oriented demeanor.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Positive attitude and commitment to high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
