Our client is a nationally recognized Fortune 500 company in RI looking to bring on an A/V Technician for an onsite, long term contract role.

The Audiovisual and Video Production Specialist provides audiovisual support for meetings and events, and supports video production throughout the organization. Maintains knowledge of technology and trends within the audio/visual, meeting technology, teleconferencing and video production industries.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Event Setup & Support - Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV equipment for meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Video Conferencing Management - Support platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Webex, ensuring seamless virtual meetings.
  • Video Production - Assist in all aspects of video production, including set design, lighting, sound recording, camera operation and editing.
  • Build Relationships - Develop good relationships with internal clients, ensuring open communication and high-quality presentations.
  • Presentation Support - Assist speakers with slide decks, sound, lighting, and other presentation needs.
  • Live Streaming & Recording - Manage live broadcasts and recordings of corporate meetings, training sessions, and events.
  • Troubleshooting & Technical Support - Provide real-time AV support to resolve sound, display, or connectivity issues.
  • User Training - Educate employees on using AV equipment and best practices for presentations and video calls.
  • Flexibility - May be called upon to handle other duties as required.

Position Requirements:

  • College degree with a preferred focus on technology, minimum 5 years or equivalent work experience in the AV and/or meeting technology field.
  • Proficient with audiovisual and computer hardware & software
  • Proficient in video production hardware and software.
  • Proficient knowledge of Crestron, Dante, Adobe Premiere, Media Encoder, PowerPoint, and Photoshop.
  • Position involves a high level of physical activity including equipment set-up, lifting and prolonged hours on your feet.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to simultaneously coordinate multiple projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Position entails non-traditional hours, travel and working on weekends when necessary.
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel is a plus.
