In this role, you will manage the accurate and efficient distribution of samples to internal and external customers, supporting both North American and global development studies. Your work will help advance research efforts and product registrations across multiple markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process sample orders using sample logistics applications.

  • Prepare shipments, attach Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and package according to IATA/DOT regulations.

  • Complete shipping documentation, scan orders and samples, and maintain accurate shipment records.

  • Assist with international shipments and communicate shipping details.

  • Conduct and reconcile sample inventories (current, bulk, GLP) and generate Excel inventory reports.

  • Receive and log incoming packages for the Sample Logistics team.

  • Maintain Certificate of Analysis archives for GLP samples.

  • Oversee and maintain the restricted GLP storage area in compliance with regulations.

  • Sub‑fill sample containers, apply FIFRA research labels, and scan into inventory.

  • Identify and report questionable test substances to the Sample Logistics Manager.

  • Maintain SDS files and retrieve updated SDS from internal and external databases.

  • Organize and label bulk inventory and store containers appropriately.

  • Order, receive, and organize supplies for the Sample Logistics team.

  • Assist with other sample logistics tasks as needed.

  • Comply with all IATA/DOT training requirements.

  • Report order discrepancies, system/application issues, or process problems promptly.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience (0-3 years related experience).

  • Knowledge of safe chemical handling.

  • Knowledge of inventory control and maintenance.

  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn specialized applications.

  • Ability to work quickly, accurately, and safely in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred:

  • Degree in a science‑related field.

  • Prior logistics or sample handling experience.

  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

  • High level of integrity and accountability.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
