* Provide operational support, including processing invoices, reimbursements, calendar management, meeting agendas/minutes, surveys, and correspondence
* Support special projects as assigned, often requiring critical thinking, problem-solving, and quick adaptation in a fast-paced environment
* Serve as a trusted partner in communications with missionaries, staff, and multiple internal departments

Ideal Candidate:
* Bachelor's degree required; coursework in event planning, hospitality, marketing, communications, or related field preferred
* 3-5 years of meeting and event planning experience (international travel experience strongly preferred)
* 2-3 years of cross-cultural mission service experience preferred
* 2-4 years in project management, database management, or alumni engagement roles
* Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
* Proactive problem-solver who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Teams; able to maintain spreadsheets (non-complex) and manage calendars effectively
* Strong communication skills across cultural contexts; experience working with diverse, multilingual audiences
* Comfortable working in a faith-based environment; familiarity with the United Methodist Church and partnerships is a plus
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Additional Details:
* Location: Remote with occasional in-office presence (1-2 times/month for meetings or record pickup)
* Culture: Faith-based campus
* Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours/week (flexible start/end times, most staff online between 8:00-4:30 or 8:30-5:00)
* Pay Rate: $30.77/hr
* Contract Type: Contract-to-Perm (CTP)
* Team Size: 3-person team within a 15-member Missionary Service unit
* Busy Season: December-February (limited time off preferred during this period)

* Start Date: After interviews are completed
