Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a detail-oriented and highly experienced Intellectual Property Paralegal to join a corporate law firm. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in patent law and a passion for supporting innovation through meticulous legal work. The opportunity is full-time, direct-hire, and fully on-site in Uptown Dallas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file U.S. and international patent, copyright, and trademark applications
• Draft and submit documents to the USPTO for provisional, utility, design, PCT, and foreign national stage patent applications (e.g., transmittals, declarations, POAs, assignments, IDSs, maintenance fees)
• Coordinate with foreign counsel on filings and correspondence for international patent matters
• Manage IP docketing systems and track critical deadlines for filings, renewals, and office actions
• Maintain attorney dockets for U.S. and foreign IP matters
• Conduct preliminary trademark searches and assist with clearance reviews
• Perform ownership, lien, assignment, and security interest searches for IP assets
• Maintain accurate records of IP assets and assist with portfolio audits
• Ensure compliance with prosecution processes and regulations across jurisdictions
• Draft and review legal correspondence, reports, and client communications
• Support IP litigation and enforcement activities as needed
• Assist with IP-related agreements (NDAs, licensing, assignments, POAs)
• Provide general administrative support to attorneys

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of IP paralegal experience in a law firm
• Patent experience is required
• Familiarity with USPTO and international IP filing procedures
• Proficiency with IP docketing software
