We are working with a boutique intellectual property firm in Atlanta seeking a Patent Agent with a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and at least 2 years of experience as a registered agent handling patent drafting, prosecution, and strategy.
Patent Agent Responsibilities:
Draft and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications
Conduct prior art searches and patentability analyses
Support attorneys with IP portfolio management
Work directly with inventors, clients, and examiners
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
USPTO registration required
2+ years of patent agent experience in a law firm or corporate setting
Strong writing and communication skills
