Job Title: Senior Human Resources Manager
Location: Gaylord, MN (Full-Time, Onsite)
Compensation: $130,000 - $140,000 annually + 10% bonus
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Overview
Beacon Hill's client in Gaylord, MN is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager with 5+ years of HR management experience in a manufacturing environment. This role is 100% onsite and will report to the Regional HR Director, serving as the key liaison between management and employees. The Senior HR Manager will ensure alignment of business strategy with HR practices, promote positive employee relations, and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the effectiveness of HR programs to improve employee satisfaction, relations, and workplace culture.
Lead and coach the HR team, ensuring alignment with business and HR initiatives.
Provide guidance and resolution on employee relations issues, ensuring consistent and fair application of policies.
Partner with leadership to design and execute recruitment strategies to attract and retain talent.
Collaborate with Centers of Excellence to design and implement employee development programs.
Audit and maintain accurate employee records, authorizing changes as necessary.
Administer company policies, procedures, and union contracts where applicable.
Participate in centralized HR projects and lead execution at the facility level.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
5+ years of HR management experience within a manufacturing environment (required).
Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and compliance requirements.
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems, including timekeeping.
Experience supporting facilities through mergers, acquisitions, or organizational change a plus.
Spanish language skills are helpful, but not required.
Strong communication skills and ability to build trust at all levels.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
