Job Title: Senior HR Generalist (Contract, 3-4 Months)
Location: Saint Paul, MN (Hybrid - Onsite 3 days per week)
Compensation: $30-$40/hour

Overview
Beacon Hill's client in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Generalist to join their HR team on a contract basis for 3-4 months, with the potential to convert into a long-term role. This position is critical during a period of significant organizational change, including the transition from Paycom to UKG and updates to HRIS, ATS, and related processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong HRIS expertise, applicant tracking experience, and the ability to provide hands-on support to managers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HRIS support during the transition from Paycom to UKG, including data conversion, troubleshooting, and process alignment.

  • Manage applicant tracking workflows such as candidate screenings, job description reviews, and interview scheduling.

  • Partner with hiring managers to guide them through the hiring process, ensuring clear communication and support.

  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and data to ensure compliance and process integrity.

  • Support organizational change initiatives by delivering steady and reliable HR expertise in a fast-paced environment.

  • Collaborate with a small HR team to meet critical deadlines and ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Contribute to a flexible, "all hands on deck" culture by assisting across HR functions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or Senior HR Generalist, with HRIS and ATS administration expertise.

  • Hands-on experience with UKG and/or Paycom strongly preferred.

  • Strong background in job description management, candidate screening, and applicant processing.

  • Ability to navigate organizational change with excellent attention to detail and reliability.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support and guide managers.

  • Experience in higher education or similarly complex organizations is a plus.
