Customer Experience Coordinator
Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid - onsite presence required)
Compensation: $27-$30/hour
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week | Standard business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PT)
Requirements: Bachelor's degree | Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
Position Summary
Beacon Hill's client in San Diego, CA is seeking a Customer Experience Coordinator to join their funding team. This role is responsible for managing internal and external communications, ensuring timely and professional responses, and supporting consistent messaging that drives high-quality service delivery. The Coordinator will play a key role in the medical funding process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver an improvement-focused customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide best-in-class customer service by responding to inquiries via phone, email, chat, and video conference.
Ensure all inquiries are addressed within established timeframes.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, complaints, and resolutions while adhering to HIPAA and privacy policies.
Develop proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and other supporting systems.
Collaborate across departments to support organizational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to the department's guiding principles: Listen, Learn, and Lead.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Core Competencies & Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to work effectively as part of cross-functional teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn new systems quickly.
Experience with data entry and account management.
Demonstrated success in identifying and implementing process improvements.
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred, not required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
2+ years of communications, customer service, or related experience (medical insurance background a plus).
Must be located near San Diego and able to commute for onsite days in a hybrid schedule.
