Customer Experience Coordinator
Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid - onsite presence required)
Compensation: $27-$30/hour
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week | Standard business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PT)
Requirements: Bachelor's degree | Bilingual Spanish/English preferred


Position Summary
Beacon Hill's client in San Diego, CA is seeking a Customer Experience Coordinator to join their funding team. This role is responsible for managing internal and external communications, ensuring timely and professional responses, and supporting consistent messaging that drives high-quality service delivery. The Coordinator will play a key role in the medical funding process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver an improvement-focused customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide best-in-class customer service by responding to inquiries via phone, email, chat, and video conference.

  • Ensure all inquiries are addressed within established timeframes.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, complaints, and resolutions while adhering to HIPAA and privacy policies.

  • Develop proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and other supporting systems.

  • Collaborate across departments to support organizational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Contribute to the department's guiding principles: Listen, Learn, and Lead.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Core Competencies & Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn new systems quickly.

  • Experience with data entry and account management.

  • Demonstrated success in identifying and implementing process improvements.

  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred, not required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 2+ years of communications, customer service, or related experience (medical insurance background a plus).

  • Must be located near San Diego and able to commute for onsite days in a hybrid schedule.
