Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing general accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting audits and month-end close processes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.

Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all accounting data.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and internal controls.

Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

Collaborate with other departments to improve financial procedures and reporting.

Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

CPA or progress toward certification preferred.

3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior or lead role.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar).

Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail.

Excellent organizational and communication skills
