Sterile Pharmacist
Overview
We're seeking an experienced Sterile Pharmacist to ensure the safe, accurate, and compliant preparation and dispensing of medications. This role involves sterile compounding, prescription verification, and maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Verify, prepare, and dispense medications accurately and safely.
Oversee sterile compounding operations in compliance with USP <797>.
Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns.
Conduct Drug Utilization Reviews and consult with patients or prescribers.
Maintain strict control of controlled substances and ensure proper documentation.
Monitor cleanroom environments and ensure compliance with aseptic procedures.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy.
Active Florida Pharmacist License.
Minimum 2 years of retail or community pharmacy experience.
Strong knowledge of sterile compounding, aseptic technique, and USP <797>.
Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to patient safety.
