Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Collections Paralegal for a full-service firm in Southwest Austin. We are seeking a skilled Paralegal with experience in general civil litigation. Prior exposure to Homeowners Association (HOA) matters is a strong plus. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to grow within a supportive and recognition-driven firm. This is a full-time, direct-hire position that is fully on-site. Responsibilities:
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including foreclosure pleadings and correspondence
- Review and revise legal forms for accuracy and completeness
- Calculate and verify delinquent amounts owed
- Conduct legal research to support case development
- Electronically file and serve legal documents
- Maintain and update case information in a case management database
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, clients, and client representatives
- Collaborate with attorneys and service providers to coordinate collection efforts
- Input client and case data into the firm's case management software
- Record billable time daily in the firm's billing system
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a law firm setting, with a focus on civil litigation
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and perform under pressure
- Excellent written communication skills, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Experience with Homeowners Association (HOA) assessment collections is a plus
