Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Analysis

  • Conduct systematic floor-by-floor occupancy counts at designated times throughout each day
  • Document actual vs. assigned seating arrangements using standardized audit tools
  • Track utilization patterns across different time periods (peak, off-peak, lunch hours)
  • Identify vacant workstations, hoteling spaces, and underutilized areas
  • Record space usage anomalies and exceptions

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate real-time data collection logs using provided templates
  • Input findings into occupancy tracking systems and databases
  • Create daily summary reports highlighting key observations
  • Prepare comprehensive final audit report with recommendations

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate with facility management and local site contacts
  • Participate in daily check-ins with the Operations Program Manager / onsite manager

Essential Skills

  • Experience: 1-2 years in operations, facilities management, or data collection roles
  • Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, basic database entry, mobile data collection apps
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to Detail: Proven ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks
  • Independence: Self-directed work style with minimal supervision required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk extensively throughout multi-floor office buildings
  • Comfortable using stairs and elevators frequently
  • Capability to stand for extended periods while conducting counts
  • Visual acuity for accurate headcount and space assessment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with occupancy studies or space planning projects

  • Basic understanding of office space utilization concepts
