A boutique law firm in Downtown Miami is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal with 4 + years of experience handling litigation matters, preferably commercial litigation. This is a direct-hire/opportunity and the firm is offering competitive salary and benefits. Hybrid schedule will be allowed after 6 months of initial employment on site at the discretion of the Partner.
Job Details:
- Organize and manage case files
- Draft and e-file legal documents in state and federal courts
- Draft letters, notices, motions and proposed orders
- Process and prepare expense reports
- Coordinate travel arrangements, etc.
- Scheduling and Calendaring
- Trial preparation
- Any additional legal support required by attorney(s)
Requirements:
- Bilingual, a plus but not required
- 4+ years of litigation experience (solid experience)
- State and Federal experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- College Degree or Some College, a plus
- Experience with e-discovery (EverLaw experience preferred). Will train a strong candidate.
