Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support tax staff and senior associates in their day‑to‑day work
• Oversee a portfolio of ongoing tax engagements, ensuring accurate execution and timely delivery
• Conduct research on complex tax matters and provide recommendations
• Review and sign off on individual and business tax returns
• Prepare advanced and technical tax filings as needed
• Maintain strong working relationships with internal team members and external stakeholders
• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and departmental success
• Participate in business development efforts when appropriate
• Handle additional tax‑related tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Active CPA license (required)
• Minimum 6+ years of experience within a public accounting or tax-focused environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; advanced tax degree preferred
• Proven experience managing multiple clients and tax engagements simultaneously
• Strong technical knowledge of tax concepts for individuals and various business entities
• Proficiency with common tax and office software
• Excellent communication skills-written, verbal, and in person
