Our client, a well-established, multi-office law firm, is seeking a Family Law Paralegal for a direct-hire, permanent position for their Charlotte office. This role involves supporting attorneys by maintaining workflow, managing calendars, drafting and preparing documents, and driving day-to-day operations. This opportunity is on-site and full-time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, file, and serve legal documents
• Assist with trial preparation by creating exhibits, pleading notebooks, spreadsheets, and performing child support calculations
• Analyze evidence and discovery to produce documentation, respond with objections, identify missing documents, and produce Federal Rule Letters
• Manage and track case management; update calendars and organize client files

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Family Law Firm, preferred
• Understanding of Local Rules
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism while showing empathy to clients
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify solutions
• Licensed North Carolina Paralegal and Notary Public
• Knowledge of Mecklenburg Local Rules
