Receptionist - Contract to Hire
Richmond, VA (Downtown) | $17/hr | Full-Time, Onsite | Start: ASAP
About the Role
A growing organization in Downtown Richmond is looking for a Receptionist to be the welcoming face of their office. This is a fully onsite, contract-to-hire role that offers the opportunity for permanent placement based on performance. The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of administrative or front desk experience and thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist visitors with professionalism and warmth.
Answer and direct incoming calls to the right contacts.
Manage the front desk to ensure a welcoming, organized environment.
Process incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries.
Schedule and prepare conference rooms for meetings.
Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and scanning.
Provide general office support and assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
2+ years of receptionist or administrative experience.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Professional demeanor and team-oriented attitude.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay organized in a busy environment.
Reliable, punctual, and eager to contribute.
