Junior Accountant

Location: Branchburg, NJ (On‑site, 5 days/week)
Schedule: Full-time, ideally 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: ~$50,000/year

Position Summary

The Junior Accountant will support the Accounting Department with project setup, cost tracking, report preparation, and general accounting functions. This role is ideal for an individual looking to grow within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter budgets and complete job setup information.
• Review and monitor the status of ongoing projects.
• Prepare financial reports and present data to management.
• Collaborate with team members and project staff to complete accurate job cost reports.
• Assist with audits and general ledger preparation.
• Perform additional accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, macros).
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
