HR Project Manager - Contract Role
Location: Minnetonka, MN
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (onsite Tues-Thurs starting January 2026)
Duration: 6-month contract (11/03/2025 - 03/27/2026)
Hours: 40 hours/week
Overview:
Beacon Hill's client in Minnetonka, MN is seeking an experienced HR Project Manager to support 2025 and 2026 Sales Incentive Plan initiatives. This role requires a proactive, agile professional who can lead projects while also being hands-on in execution. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with Compensation, HR Business Partners, Finance, Sales Incentive Compensation, and Sales leadership teams.
In addition to Sales Incentive Plan work, the HR Project Manager may be assigned to other HR initiatives, including Total Rewards, Employee Relations, and HR Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Document project details and produce status reports.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Act as a central knowledge base for project-related information.
- Consult with cross-functional teams to align resources and schedules.
- Escalate and manage changes to scope, budget, and timing.
- Lead effective project meetings and maintain project documentation.
- Integrate communication and change management into project plans.
- Create presentations, communications, and project resources.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of project management experience, including large-scale initiatives.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., SmartSheet, MS Project).
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Proficiency in Excel (intermediate), Mail Merge, DocuSign, and MS Teams.
- Strong communication skills with executive-level presence.
- Working knowledge of HR principles and practices.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience in sales compensation or an HR functional area.
Work Arrangement Details:
- Occasional onsite collaboration required.
- Starting January 2026, onsite work will be required Tuesday through Thursday.
